“On Valentine’s Day, romantic love is expressed through cards, flowers, candy, and gifts. On every day of the year, Samaritan’s Purse programs communicate a different kind of love. Whether through feeding people in Liberia (above), or any of our projects in countries throughout the world, our aim is to tell people about the One who showed the incredible depths of His love by giving His Son as a sacrifice for sin. Debi Lammert, an Advanced Practice Nurse from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who has made five trips to Haiti to volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse, wrote the following, based on I Corinthians 13, about how that love is expressed in a practical manner.”
