“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.”
King of heaven and earth, Lord God, rule over our hearts, minds and bodies this day. Sanctify us and, by the power of your Word and Spirit, guide our every thought, word and deed, so that now and forever your grace may free and save us. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
God our Father, your sovereign rule is a rule of love, your providence is full of mercy for your people. Grant the spirit of wisdom to those you have placed in civil and spiritual authority over us, so that we may enter into your peace and live in harmony with one another. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Praise to you, Heavenly Father, for your Son, my Lord Jesus Christ. Through the Holy Spirit he offered himself in sacrifice to you, that I might be delivered from death and selfishness, and be free to live in your peace.
Lord God, true Light and Creator of light, grant that faithfully pondering on all that is holy, I may ever live in the splendour of your presence. Through my Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Stay with me, Lord Jesus: In all things I am victorious through your love; take me into your care today.
