Season of Thanksgiving

Morning Prayer: 23 November – Psalm 42 ~ the remembrance melts my soul

Almighty Lord and God, protect us by Your power through the course of this day, even as You have enabled us to begin it. Do not let us turn aside to any sin, but let our every thought, word and deed aim at doing what is pleasing in Your sight. Bless us, and keep us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Morning Prayer: 13 November – Psalm 50:23; Psalm 51:7, 9-12; Galatians 2:19-20 ~ Christ lives in me

We have been baptized into Your death: may we be cleansed of greed and envy, and clothed in the strength and gentleness of Your love. We have been sealed with the Holy Spirit who has been given to us; confirm us in Your service, and help us to bear witness to You in the society in which we live. You continue to work in Your faithful people: create through us a new world where injustice and destruction will give way to growth, freedom and hope.
