Lord Jesus: You pour life into me, giving me speech, sense, desire, giving me thought and action. My fame or repute will be just as You allow: You mark the way before me. Help me to follow faithfully in Your footsteps until my life’s end. Amen.
Christ the King: You reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God forever. May I joyfully walk in the light of Your presence. Deliver me from every evil and grant me Your peace. Let Your Kingdom come, Lord, in me. Amen.
“The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”
Build into my life a daily habit of quietude in the security of Your presence, from which I can venture forth into this noisy, uncertain world to love and serve You.
Use me, Lord, as an instrument of Your mercy to lift the burden of those who are struggling in life. May I serve them just as eagerly as I would serve You.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.
Deliver us, Lord from every evil and grant us peace in our day. In Your mercy, Lord, keep us free from sin, and protect us from all anxiety as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Let Your Kingdom come, Lord, in me. Amen.
