Most merciful Father,
we humbly thank you
for all your gifts so freely bestowed upon us:
for life and health and safety,
for strength to work and leisure to rest,
for all that is beautiful in creation and in human life;
but above all
we thank you for our spiritual mercies
in Christ Jesus our Lord;
who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

26:1 “When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance and have taken possession of it and live in it, you shall take some of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you harvest from your land that the Lord your God is giving you, and you shall put it in a basket, and you shall go to the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name to dwell there. And you shall go to the priest who is in office at that time and say to him, ‘I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come into the land that the Lord swore to our fathers to give us.’ Then the priest shall take the basket from your hand and set it down before the altar of the Lord your God.
26:5 “And you shall make response before the Lord your God, ‘A wandering Aramean was my father. Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.” Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” So they said to him, 
“Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform? A Litany of Thanksgiving
Give thanks to God our Father for all his gifts so freely bestowed upon us:
+ For the beauty and wonder of your creation, in earth and sky and sea, we give you thanks;
+ For our daily food and drink, our homes and families, and our friends, we give you thanks;
+ For minds to think, and hearts to love, and hands to serve, we give you thanks;
+ For health and strength to work, and time to rest and worship, we give you thanks;
+ For all who are patient in suffering and faithful in adversity, we give you thanks;
+ For all who earnestly seek after truth, and all who labor for justice, we give you thanks;
+ For all that is good and gracious in the lives of men and women, revealing the image of Christ, we give you thanks;
+ For the communion of saints, in all times and places, we give you thanks;
+ Above all, we give you thanks for the great mercies and promises given to us in Christ Jesus our Lord;

Almighty God, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem: Thank you for your intervention in the deliverance of the hostages from captivity; restore the souls of the living and comfort those who mourn the loss of the dead. Unite all your people around the common goal of restoration and peace, that they might return to you – the one true God – through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Hasten, O Father, the coming of your kingdom; and grant that we your servants, who now live by faith, may with joy behold your Son at his coming in glorious majesty; even Jesus Christ, our only Mediator and Advocate. Amen.

Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead. Then the disciples went back to their homes.
19:28 And when he had said these things, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.”

2 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
