Speaking as a deliriously happy, married man (Mrs. TurnRight is a real, honest-to-goodness saint; ask anyone), it horrifies me to see what has happened to the institution and vocation of marriage. It is in serious danger, plain and simple. In my opinion, one of the primary causes why marriage is on the ropes today is because of our government, which actively seeks to take the place of the man in the relationship. 7 “But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.

8 They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.
