During election time, the opposition focuses on fragmented bits of society to descend upon and exploit their sensibilities to fear. They dangle the socialistic carrot on a stick to steer seniors in fear of losing Medicare and now women fearing to lose their ‘right’ to free contraception and abortion.

Democrats want a socialist government with little actual benefits while gaining brutal taxes to fund it. But they decry foul to those that enjoy doing things on their own like planning their own families, operating their own businesses and shopping for their own health insurance. The ‘Land of the Free’ is becoming a land of Stepford-Wife-like soylent-green-eating manikins. No one has value, only pockets that hold tax money.

Demonizing and dehumanizing unborn human life is not new to the Obamanation. The current federal government is aware of its true weakness – the ‘Unborn’ vote.

Being female myself, I find it embarrassing…

Today, in most countries, it’s easy enough to own a Bible. In some places, having a Bible would put your life in danger. That’s quite a price to pay just for having a Bible, but people in these countries are willing to pay that price for truth.

Many, in America, have more than one Bible. Our lives are not threatened for having possession of a Bible. Sometimes, I wonder if we would choose to own a Bible if it meant risking our lives. We have yet to be challenged with such a price. Perhaps, if we were, the Bibles in our homes would not be taken for granted.

You remember her: I wrote about her after hearing her speak last year (“Life is beautiful”).

Her mom tried to abort Melissa, but she was born alive. Here’s where the story gets political: if it were up to Barack Obama, Melissa would be dead. Four times he voted against legislation in Illinois that would require medical attention for babies that survive the abortionist’s handiwork.

Barack Obama’s radical vision of humanity insists that medical providers let the Melissa Ohdens of the world die. After all, she was supposed to be dead, wasn’t she?

Are you okay with this? Seriously? I have never, ever seen such a smug rejection of human compassion as in this man.

I’ll never forget the first time I realized the power of teaching my children God’s Word. It did not seem like much at the time. It was a very stormy morning and my oldest (my only at the time) was frightened. We were driving to daycare and she was in tears because of the thunder and lightening.

Mommy, I’m afraid. She was in the backseat with her hands over her eyes.
