Hysterical Audio – Voice Mail Description of Accident – Biblical Appilcation

Peanut Gallery – Now here’s an application/illustration that never occurred to me. You learn something new every day. This is very funny –

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness….”

“Facing the Giants: In Your Marriage” Crossroads Church

Peanut Gallery – This is the best message that I have ever heard on marriage. Yes – EVER!

The text was – 2 Samuel 11 – the story of David and Bathsheba. The message was Biblical, honest and kind… and it offered help and hope. The speakers knew what they were talking about and had the congregation’s full attention… because everyone there knew they were talking to them.

The message was delivered at my daughter’s church outside of Chicago. It starts a little slow… but is well worth the time. Perhaps God will speak to you… as He did to me.

Peanut Gallery: How do you deal with politicians who will say and do anything to get elected… and an electorate that believes everything is relative? Postmodernism is the death of any rational discourse that depends on factual analysis and consistency.

This election is getting down to a choice between a two-year old having a tantrum (I want what I want when I want it) and an adult (stop whining and get a job – I’m not paying for your bad behavior any more.) Sadly, two-year olds often win the day.

“The point is that more than any President we can recall, Mr. Obama isn’t trying to persuade voters that he deserves to stay in office because of his philosophy, record or positive vision for the country. Rather, his case is that he deserves re-election because Mr. Romney is worse, and he is so very much worse because of things that were invented in the West Wing but are detached from reality.

The entire theory of the Obama campaign seems to be that the more outrageous the claim the better, because the more you repeat it the more the media will talk about it, and the lie will achieve a kind legendary truth.”

“Eat Mor Chikin” – I DID!

Peanut Gallery: Today was the big “Free Speech” / “Religious Freedom” day for culture warriors and I did my part. So did hundreds of other folks in Aurora, IL where we’re visiting our family. I waited 2 hours in line for inside counter service. Drive through wait was about 45 minutes. And the lines were just as long when I left. This was big!

It was a lot like a tea party gathering without signs – lot’s of regular folks waiting for hours in the hot sun to make a point for freedom… it had very little to do with the food. It took time, energy and passion… and people were glad to do it. It would have been a terrific place for conservative voter registration effort.

The people in line with me couldn’t wait to express their support for traditional family values. And they can’t wait for November 6th to express their opinion again. The sleeping American giant has had enough. Look at the variety of people – men, women and families.
