For we are chopped up and burned by our enemies. May they perish at the sight of your frown. Strengthen the man you love, the son of your choice. Then we will never abandon you again. Revive us so we can call on your name once more.

Turn us again to yourself, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.

__________

Time Lost

Reading: Ephesians 5:15-17 (NLT)

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.
__________

Prayer:

Heavenly Father: I give you this day, come what may. Give me the wisdom to make the most of every opportunity you place before me.

+ Give me right motives in all I do; to love and serve you.
+ Give me discernment to follow your lead; to set aside my own agenda.
+ Give me companions to share the load; to help me in my weakness.
+ Give me love for friends and enemies alike; to seek and save the lost.

Heavenly Father: Fill me with your Spirit and give me the power to accomplish what you give me to do today. Through Jesus Christ, your Son and my Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God forever. Amen.
