Create a clean heart within me, O God,
so that it may become Your chosen shelter
and the resting place of the Holy Spirit.

My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.

I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Prayer:

Hear me as I pray, O Lord. Be merciful and answer me!

+ I have heard Your voice in my heart calling me; hear I am.
+ Calm the tempest within me; that I may delight in the beauty of Your presence.
+ Shower Your righteousness upon me and bring forth a harvest of love.
+ Remind me of Your loving-kindness to me; that I may rest in Your peace.

Lord, I belong to You; hold me close to Your heart – today, and forever.
