Watching the count down…

Peanut Gallery:  While watching the microwave clock count down… have you ever thought that you were watching seconds of your life tick away? At my age, I think about things like this.

I can’t regain those lost seconds, but it does make me think about what I want to do with the rest of my life. BTW – Billy Graham has a good book on the subject – “Nearing Home.” And, Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven Life can be read and re-read.

The Muscat Festival 2012

Peanut Gallery: The Muscat Festival in Oman is a  fun event for everyone with food, fireworks and bicycle races. This Facebook photo link will give you an idea of the sights.

2 – Our family in Oman watching the fireworks… but look at the folks in the background. So common, the kids hardly notice them.
