Pray for the Central Asia Church

April 14-15 | Central Asia
Last spring several Christians were praying and fasting for a good harvest of cotton from their fields. Their prayers were answered as they had an abundant harvest which was a great encouragement for them. As they work in the fields, they also use the opportunity to share the
gospel with other people working in nearby fields. Please pray with them and ask God to encourage and bless them abundantly as many Christians often struggle to make ends meet.

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. (1 Chronicles 4:10)

Evening Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:1,3-4 NLT

“[The Resurrection of Christ] Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.”
1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4 NLT

Morning Reading: Luke 24:45-49 ESV

Then [Jesus] opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”
